EUTERPE_ADN

The working group for the EUTERPE_adn project is an interdisciplinary one; with musicians, researchers, biologists, psychologists, nursing staff, lab technicians, data analysts, bioinformaticians, social workers, educators… and production and management staff. The research group Gen ViP- Gen POB at the Institute of Health Research in Santiago de Compostela is coordinating the project so that the work of the eight participating institutions will achieve their social and human development goals.

The working group EUTERPE_adn, led by Laura Navarro and Antonio Salas (IDIS) has a wide participation of its research group GenViP-Gen PoB, which is a global leader in biomedical research (genpob.eu) The research in neuropsychology is carried out by the well known School of Psychology at the University of Minho. The two bodies responsible for the music programme, Casa da Musica in Porto and Musicos ao Vivo in Galicia are the most prestigious in their sector. Four social groups are central to and benefit from the project: Santa Casa da Misericordia de Porto, Alzheimer Portugal, Dano Cerebral Santiago de Compostela and Agadea.
