UMinho currently holds a prominent position in the main international rankings (Academic Ranking of World Universities). It is the knowledge center with the highest level of investment attracted during the QREN and Portugal 2020 periods, representing 24% of the total R&D Centers and Higher Education Institutions. It ranks 1st on the list of beneficiaries with the most funding received from Portugal 2020. In 2019, UMinho was the second institution in Portugal to secure the most funding under H2020, also obtaining 6 ERC Grants. The mission of CIPsi is to promote the development and dissemination of high-quality scientific knowledge, enhancing the interaction between education and society, and expanding its social responsibility.

Roles in the EUTERPE-adn project

CIPsi coordinates and carries out the neuropsychological assessment of the participant beneficiaries of the EUTERPE_adn project. They collect and analyze sociodemographic data, emotional well-being, loneliness, quality of life, cognitive decline, among other variables, from all participants before, during, and after the musical intervention.
